This fashion campaign is for a Hawaiian clothing brand called LexBreezy. During the conceptual process, including cultural elements was very important to me. My mother was born in Hawaii and my name is also Hawaiian, so evidently I feel a connection to Hawaiian culture. This project was created utilizing photography, with an emphasis on natural lighting and vibrant colors. This ad showcases confident, strong, empowered women proudly wearing their Hawaiian Pareos. I wanted the audience to feel like they were transported right to Hawaii, so I took the photos in a beach like environment, and dressed the models in Hawaiian decorative and ceremonial wear. These ads would be placed in locations where fashion is evident, such as malls, boutiques, and clothing stores, as well as being the perfect feature for a fashion magazine.
